Eric Veras

Born and raised in the Bronx, Eric Veras is a Director of Photography, camera operator, and portrait photographer based in New York City. If there’s a shot to be had, he’ll find it, whether that means braving the Arctic Circle in Northern Alaska, venturing seventy stories underground into the Grand Canyon Caverns, or trekking through the lush greens of South Africa. (Yes, his frequent flyer miles are impressive).

Eric draws constant inspiration from his hometown of New York City, where the hustle, the characters, and the endless energy fuel his love of storytelling.

His lens has captured stories for an extensive lineup of networks including Netflix, Bravo, HBO, Nat Geo, TLC, YouTube, MTV, Lifetime, Refinery29, Vice, and Showtime. Recent credits include the Emmy Award winning Queer Eye, Owning Manhattan, Project Runway, Say Yes to the Dress, and 90 Day Fiancé.

Always chasing the next challenge, Eric is equally at home behind the camera, in the studio or halfway across the globe. Just don’t ask him to pick his favorite location, he’ll tell you it’s still “the Bronx … if you add catering.”
